When it comes to espresso most people would consider Michel Lussier, founder of the cafe chain Caffuccino, an expert. In his 11 years, building his shops, he has grown his business to the point where he now employs 105 people. Michel is more than just a coffee expert, however. He is also a very successful entrepreneur. It just happens that this businessman has built his wealth around the drink he loves most, espresso.
In the interview, just released on My-Best-Coffee, he did talk espresso, but more than that he shared some of his story. It isn’t often that you get to talk a business owner with Michel’s success.
Lussier started his chain in 1997. Initially he started small, with the goal of opening a cafe that he himself would enjoy.
With that in mind, he opened his first cafe. Since then he has opened three more coffee shops, and has made his business a huge success.
Michel’s passions were clear, as he shared his views about espresso, cappuccino, and some ideas about his recipes. He even talked about his superautomatic espresso machines, and semi-automatic machines.
Lussier further shared his love for the business, by sharing with us how he incorporates his commercial machines into the decor of his Bistros.

An $11,000 coffee maker ought to make a darn fine cup of coffee.
And it does. So fine and so nuanced, in fact, the coffee world has been buzzing for months over how the Clover coffee machine would revolutionize the coffee shop industry and how Americans view drip java.
Trouble is, lately the Clover and its new corporate owner have brewed more controversy than coffee. Once the domain of independent shops looking to distinguish themselves from big chains, the Clover now belongs to Starbucks Corp. In a deal of still undisclosed terms, the Seattle coffee behemoth acquired the machine’s maker, Seattle-based Coffee Equipment Co., recently.
Suddenly, some of that revolutionary luster seems lost.
Soon after Starbucks announced the buyout at its recent shareholders meeting - as well as plans to stop selling the machine to others - the blogosphere lit up with angst-ridden talk of independents threatening to jettison their Clovers.

A GWYNEDD-BASED supplier of FairTrade coffee recently launched a new initiative to donate money from every sale to help Ty Gobaith children’s hospice.
Dwyfor Coffee will make a contribution to the charity from the sale of packs of fair trade coffee, tea, sugar and other products.
Managing director Michael Squire has built up the FairTrade side of the business over recent years until today it accounts for about 85% of the business.
Now he is to give a 25p donation from every sale of fair trade catering packs to the Conway-based hospice which needs £1m a year to cover its running costs.
Mr Squire is aiming to raise £5,000 this year for the hospice and revealed he hoped it would be the beginning of an ongoing relationship with the hospice.
He added that the move to help the hospice “completed the loop” because the firm bought its coffees and other goods from fair trade producers in South America, Africa and Asia, helping to improve the living conditions of growers, and was now using some of the proceeds from sales to help a local charity.
Mr Squire said the donations came out of the existing price list of the products and would not mean a price increase to customers.
